Tim and Lauren Berneche: we are Berneche2 Architecture, a husband-wife practice specializing in both residential and commercial project types. Tim is licensed in the states noted below. With his NCARB (National Council of Architect Registration Boards) Certification, he can acquire a license in most any state through reciprocity.
Tim is also prequalified with the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) to permit commercial swimming pools.
We specialize in lake houses and the unique design challenges that come with designing along coastal areas. Our experience in multiple building and construction types allows us to interpolate technologies, philosophies, and solutions onto your project others might not consider. Our focus on seeking continuing education and investigating new technologies keeps us apprised on current construction and design trends.
